Golden Hour
‘Golden Hour’
The afternoon clock strikes
and you must sneak way.
There is a path
in need
of your footsteps.
The light,
warm and low,
desires to find you.
The trees
have silent words
they need to tell you.
But none
will reach you
if you do not:
Stop time.
Pause.
Calm the noise.
Step off
the world’s merry-go-round.
So slip away
to the place lit for you
by the golden hour.
For there
your magic awaits.
