Monday #colormood

Kame Colour by Emily Kame Kngwarreye, 1995.jpg

The Path

We want straight lines.

Or at least,

ones we can color within

neatly.

We’re impatient.

We want answers.

We want things

to feel safe,

predictable.

But Life

is what happens

when the lines aren’t clear.

When things become

murky

twisted

uncomfortable.

Keep drawing.

Things will feel like a mess.

But later,

when you step back,

all the lines

intertwine

in a harmony

of rapturous art.
